All Saints’ church is in need of serious repair…

All Saints’ is a beautiful, Grade II* parish church in Binfield, Berkshire. Not only is the church a meeting place for a strong congregation, gathering each weekend for Sunday services, the church is a natural focus for local and national events such as Remembrance Day. There are close links with the school and many of the pupils take part in church life.

At the end of 2015, a survey completed on the building highlighted some very serious issues with the roof, walls and drainage system.

Recently the need for these repairs has become highly evident: leaks from the roof have been seen inside the building, with water also rising under the flagstones in the floor. Cracks can clearly been seen on the outer walls.

In order for any work to be carried out, the church will be mostly dependent on any grants successfully applied for and awarded, but also on any funds raised by the congregation and the community.

Every penny raised will go towards ensuring our beautiful parish church, and all of the rich history it contains, remains standing for another few hundred years.
