We are looking forward to this traditional day out in the Binfield Calendar!
As ever, you are all a huge part of the success of this event, and we can’t run it without the support and contributions from our village!
We would really appreciate it if you can help with any aspect of the event.
Volunteers Needed
We really appreciate all the lovely people who step forward to volunteer to help us with setting up the Fete on Saturday afternoon and/or Sunday morning, clearing up afterwards and with manning the stalls on the day.
Guest Stalls
We still have some outdoor stall spaces available for this year’s Fete – please contact us if you’d like to reserve a pitch!
Raffle and Silent Auction Prizes
We have been donated some amazing prizes in previous years for our Silent Auction, from a week in a holiday home in Malta, golf vouchers, to babysitting. Please get in touch if you are able to offer us a prize this year – we would really appreciate it!
Tombola Donations
We would also be grateful to receive any quality donations for our Tombola stalls. Please could you help us by providing any of the following items:
- Adult Tombola: Bottles and Chocolate! Examples: bottles of alcohol, non-alcoholic drinks and any kind of chocolate (biscuit/bars/bags).
- Children’s Tombola: Any new, unopened books, games or toys etc or teddys for the Teddy Tumble.
Please note this year will NOT be running a book stall, so we cannot take any old books. However, two of our lovely parishioners are running a bric-a-brac stall and a jigsaw stall, so please hold onto items, including children’s toys for them, thank you!
The church office will only be open on a Wednesday over the summer, so bring any donations to St. Mark’s on these days, or drop them at the collection point in the Parish Council offices.
Homemade Cakes and Preserves
The offerings of our tea tent rely hugely on any donations from all of you. Please have a think about what you may be able to rustle up in the kitchen for us (nut-free recipes would be appreciated)!
Please think about signing up and support us where you can. We truly rely on the support of our wonderful village to make the Fete the huge success it is!
