Would you like to get married in All Saints’ our beautiful medieval church?

Congratulations! Please email the office in the first instance to see if your preferred date is available.    We will only confirm a booking once we have all the paperwork.

Please download and complete the wedding application form and return it to the office along with documentation to prove the qualifying connection to this parish (please see page 2 of the application form).

To evidence this, we will need a copy of 2 year’s consecutive council tax statements with names on or 2 letters/statements dated at least 6 months apart with name and address on them.

For ID purposes we’ll also need a copy of both passports and if either of the couple to be married have been married before, a copy of the decree absolute.

Copies of the documents at this stage will be fine but Revd Luke Taylor will need to see the originals at some point closer to the date.

Once all the application paperwork is sorted we will then discuss the Banns, bells, flowers, choir, organist, costs etc.

The reading of Banns of Marriage

If you are getting married in another parish but live in our parish it is a legal necessity that you have your Banns read at our church (or follow the Common Licence procedure). These are usually 3 consecutive Sundays and must be in the 3 months before your wedding.

If you would like us to arrange to read your Banns of Marriage, please download, complete and return this form.  There is a fee of £51.  You can either email the form to office@binfieldcofechurches.org.uk (please ask for BACS payment details) or post it to Banns Applications, St Mark’s Church Office, Popeswood Road, Binfield, Berkshire. RG42 4AH with a cheque payable to Binfield PCC.

We will either post the resulting certificate to you if requested or you can collect from the office above.
