The cemetery at Stubbs Hill was consecrated in 1888 and has been in use ever since for the burial of anyone who resides within our Parish. Hopefully you will have been aware of the hard work our Fabric team have been undertaking recently to give the site some much needed attention.

As the top field is full, the bottom field is now in use and the team’s thoughts are turning to the planning of this new space.

They would love to see what you think should be done with the area and are running a competition over the summer! From fountains to seating, all your ideas – realistic or imaginative – are welcome! Entry costs £2, with the money going to the Church Care Project and there are even a few small prizes for their favourites in each category (Child, Junior and Adult).

Please see the website for more details and t&c’s, and we look forward to seeing your entries (to be submitted by Wednesday, 31st August)!
