We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who helped make our Fete, which took place on Sunday 14th September, such a wonderful success.

Firstly, we’re very grateful that prayers were answered and that the rain held off for most of the day!

Visitors were able to enjoy the outdoor service and musical entertainment, delicious food and refreshments and stalls from our wonderful community groups and local crafters. Not to mention the display of talents from both the dancers and our four-legged friends!

So many people offered their time and talents and donations, that it’s impossible to thank everyone here by name. It was a true community event which saw everyone coming together to make a memorable day for all and we appreciate each and every one of you.

A special thanks does however go to the Fete Committee, who worked so hard. Many of them got involved for the first time to make sure the event took place this year. We couldn’t have done it without them!

Thanks to everyone’s support, we were able to enjoy a very special day, while raising much appreciated funds for the church. We are very happy to report that this year’s Fete raised a fantastic £6,200 – our best total yet!
