The cemetery at Stubbs Hill was consecrated in 1888 and has been in use since for the burial of anyone who resides within our Parish. As the top field is full, the bottom field is now in use and anyone visiting recently will have observed that the site needs some attention and updates. Watch the video below to see what we’ve done so far.
However, there is still much to do, a whole field in fact… and that’s where you come in!
We want to see what you think we should do with the free space. From fountains to seating, we want to see all your ideas, realistic or imaginative. We even have a few small prizes for our favourites in each category (Child, Junior and Adult)
Simply draw up your design and fill out your details on our entry form, and hand it in with £2 entry fee either at Foxes Den or you can pay and submit online before Midnight on August 31st, 2022. You can also click through to see our example entry that was dreamed up by resident Tony Muller and read those ever-important T&Cs.
We can’t wait to see what you come up with!
We’ve set up a GoFundMe Campaign to help with our cemetery work and would appreciate anything you are able to contribute!
